The countdown is on! We’re delighted to be returning to one of the UK’s biggest and most prestigious agricultural events – the Royal Welsh Show 2026.
Taking place from Monday 20th July to Thursday 23rd July 2026, the show promises four fantastic days celebrating the very best of Welsh agriculture, livestock, innovation and rural life.
This year’s Royal Welsh Show will be officially opened by Major Andrew Butcher MBE on Monday 20th July. With a distinguished military career and strong connections to the rural community, Major Butcher is a fitting choice to open an event that celebrates dedication, service and the people who make British agriculture so special.
The opening is particularly meaningful for Platts Agriculture, reflecting our own commitment to supporting those who have served and continue to serve. Through our involvement with the Armed Forces Covenant, we are proud to recognise the valuable contribution of the armed forces community and support fair treatment for service personnel, veterans and their families.
